PETER LOMBARD

Peter Lombard obtained his B.A. in theater from the University of Arizona and headed straight for Broadway. His first job was the title role in a touring company of Li'l Abner where he met singing, dancing, comedienne, Peggy Anne Watson. They became "The Lombards." A highlight in a career of eleven Broadway shows was the role of "Thomas Jefferson" in the original production of 1776 on Broadway.

THE LOMBARDS opened an antique business, dubbed it THE SALVAGE BARN and became a hit on Hudson Street in New York City.

In 1991, they purchased a 1760 colonial in Red Hook, installed their antiques, and opened THE LOMBARDS, a B&B Inn to excellent notices.
